Threats

• The harvest failed while the men were on campaign, many are going hungry
• Some of those dissatisfied with the leadership of the Brotherhood have turned to banditry
• Priest accuse the Brotherhood of perverted religion and mysterious secret rituals
• Many people do not believe that we have fought terrible monsters on their behalf
• Many of the Brothers have been changed by the war and have come home aggressive and thirsting for blood

Crossroads

• Scuffles between the brothers and liveried servants are becoming more common place, do we try and ease the tensions?
• The king arrests a leader of the brotherhood on charges that most regard as false. Will we free him from his prison?
• Some of the Brothers wish to seize the kingdom by force and create a new government, equal for all. Will we suppress their discontent or give it strength?
• The barons’ petition the king to issue a decree that none may carry arms unless bearing noble arms. Will we leave ourselves defenceless or oppose it?
• A rival kingdom invades, will we help defend our home at cost of our own strength? What bargain is worth our suffering?
