The Tomb of Silver Swords
Legend has it that Harulf buried ten swords of Moon Silver in the tomb of the saint Gwainth. The tomb is said to be crowned by a huge silver birch. The tomb is known to be located on the Haverthorn Moors but the exactly location is a mystery and the moor has been searched several times with no success.
The scholar Ruthen Fairholt was said to know the location but word arrived that he has passed away recently before you could meet with him. It is said that the wise woman Clarity Rasfern has the ability to commune with the dead but her people travel with the permission of the Lupus Lords and she is said to be near Darkwater now half a days travel from Rookshaven where Fairholt is buried.
Haverthorn Moors
The moors are in the territory of the Scarlet Prince, there is little love lost between the Lupus Lords and the Prince and you don’t think he will actively try to thwart your quest but the Prince’s Rangers might well be interested in the tomb or the swords for their owns pursuits.
Party goods
You have a backpack with four cloves of garlic, a mirror and four hardened stakes of ash wood. A donkey called Klaus who carries rations, wine, blankets, bedrolls, ropes, flint and tinder and sheets of canvas, enough for the entire party.
Roll a d6 on 1 you have nothing else, 2-3 a gold cross of the True Faith, 3-4 a wooden cross blessed by a priest, 6 a cross the size of dagger containing a lock of hair of a saint (who owns it? who did you acquire it?).
You have also enlisted the help of the peddler and ribbon seller Grey Marcie who knows all the nearby paths between settlements.
