Gareth the alchemist

A man in his mid-thirties, with curly black hair and an equally prodigious beard. He wears fine clothing, reflecting his status as a country lord.

Drive: find peace in the afterlife

His story: while experimenting to create more reliable crops using the Stone of Argua his ambitious apprentice, Isabell, meddled with the experiment. Something terrible has happened and while he is trapped between life and death he knows that something sinister is growing in his manse. He pleads with the knights to bring him peace and put his remains to rest.
