The Eternal King

Part One

Scene One

The world was destroyed by a druidic cult outraged at the desecration of the land by the mages. They transformed themselves into lions to prevent civilisation from remerging.

The adversary is massive treant that is currently sleeping.

The civilisation was ruled by an eternal king that was fused from three souls, united in their desire to dominate.

The wanderer is a planar looter looking to achieve godhood through a combination of enchanted items.

Scene Two

The eternal king was thrown into the Spiral Caves to negate their immortality. They believe if they could escape they could reclaim the power in the remaining statues and restore their kingdom.

Scene Three

The adversary blocks the paths to the planes from this world. It will seek to convert the Wanderer into some inert form.

Scene Four

The fruit of the gardens was a delight designed to corrupt within. Society rotted from within, moving to the patterns of the druid’s rituals.

The adversary wants to neutralise the Wanderer and incorporate their power into their design for the world.

Scene Five

The king was desperate for the cursed taste that led to their downfall. What a pathetic creature.

Part Two

Scene One

The statues of the Wailing Cliffs were made to purify sorcerers of emotional distractions but the enchantment was flawed. The failure was far more useful for the eternal king than its intended purpose.

Scene Two

The eternal king retained some of their power where the statues they crafted remained to leech on the power of the land. The verdant world simply fuelled them more and allow twisted expressions of the king’s psyche to materialise, unaware of their fractured nature.
